Well Eric, I have cut off film leaders of TXax and TriX films and done a
side-by-side comparison of fixing times for both films.  If you try doing
the same you can watch to see how long it takes each to clear.  TMax film
does take longer to clear.  Prove it to yourself with a similar test.  The
issue is not base colour of the film, but actual time to clear.  TMax takes
longer, so fixing time should be increased with TMax film.
