Select one of the following:

  (A)  Remove the softie in winter when using bulky mittens/gloves/
       whatever.

  (B)  Do not wind on the film/tension the shutter other than prior
       to making an exposure.

  (C)  Remove gloves/mittens/whatever prior to handling camera.

  (D)  Move to a warmer climate.

Martin, I think the only answer(s) are A and D....or E - All of the Above...

Actually, it's not a question of gloves, mittens, etc., but of sweaters,
coats, etc., all of which the camera bumps against when being carried....oh
well...
