Chasseur d'images has an ethical rule : no rumo(u)r but only true
information.
If they say no Hexar 2, that means they have no information.

NO INFORMATION does NOT mean that something's not cooking. You all know how
corporate reps will profusely deny any speculation and then launch a
product. When I made reference to the Chasseur D. RE the konica, it was
because an actual RF system, like a F100 or an F5 digital is supported by
enough mounting rumor, albeit however speculative, to begin to attract the
general publics attention. And note Konica's response. They ARE thinking
about an RF system. Just thinking about it in corporate terms means they
damn well have really studied both a target area in the market that will
make up for the M system's shortcomings vis a vis the auomated world. A
great deal of the time when a major company responds in that manner, you
know they've got something cooking. Nikon denied the F5. Leica the R8. And
Canon did a big Houdini routine even after acknowledging but just before
launching the EOS1N.
