Now everybody who had well working R3's and 4's please don't get antsy,
my response is based on personal experience and that of several others
who had the flying willies with R3's and early R4's.

Ted,
Hope youve had the chance to catch plenty of Aussie gold. I wonder whether
the R3's that are still working and out there have not been through a
natural selection process, and perhaps it is survival of the fittest. Maybe
those left standing are worthy cameras with a cheap price tag?
