I have a lightweight metal hadgrip made by:
M-Grip GMP Products
401 1st Ave N Studio 356
Minneapolis, MN 55401
(612)339-0258
which I obtaind from
Park Square Camera & Photo
77 Arlington Street
Boston, MA 02116
(617) 482-8356
many, many moons ago. I have tried the plastic one from Leica, and,
well, to tell the truth, I prefer the metal one that I have.
Hope this helps.
