Thanks, Ted. I've regained some patience over the weekend. The desire to go
out and shoot is there, but I will be content to wait until the annoying
little problems are resolved.
These are handmade cameras, and without great attention to detail they
could not perform or handle as well as they do. With the amount of hand
building, there is always going to be room for errors and variation.
Our local Leica rep. and the company are very helpful and responsive, so
I'd like to end my part in the discussion by saying that whatever problems
I've had, I've been happy with the way that they've been handled. I've
always been confident doing business with Leica.
