Maybe we should add a disclaimer to all of our photographs:
"I have a confession: I do not make the lens that is on my camera. I have a
lens supplier in Germany that makes them to meet or exceed my needs and
expectations. If they do not supply a lens that meets my high standards
then I exchange it for an acceptable example."
Wouldn't we feel silly for making such an apology?
