You might try using a step-down adaptor to 58mm, which
is a popular size in the Canon EOS lenses as so there are a lot of filters
available. You would then be able to use the lens hood on the 75. It is
doubtful that there would be any vignetting on a lens of this focal length.
(I know someone who used this combination on a 21 Elmarit but I never asked
him how the shots looked @ f2.8.)
