hello people- i noticed a lot of you guys have sent out your bio-datas, so
i decided to do so as well:
name: MIGUEL ANTONIO V. FABIE lll
(filipino, of spanish descent)
age: just turned 29 last sept 17
status: married for the last 5 years, but in the process of a separation (as
in i'm on my "way out"), wife is (was?) an established local fashion
designer
one son (miguel the fourth), who's turning 4 this december
education: DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY (MANILA) bachelor in humanities, minor in
communication arts (thesis on "fashion photography in advertising")
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY certificate in film
INTERNATIONAL FILM & TELEVISION WORKSHOPS (rockport, maine)

in feature film lighting and director-of-photography workshop
occupation: cinematographer for advertising (tv commercials, mtvs, etc),
independent feature length and short films
previously a fashion/food photographer
other interests: i collect anything to do with photography/cinematography,
have over
60 working/non-working cameras (still and motion picture)
i like jazz and tube amplifiers, windsurfing, badminton, antiques,
cichlids (fish!- but don't have any tanks at the moment)
have had three joint photography exhibits, two solos
currently a probationary member of the Camera Club of the
Philippines

recently due to
financial difficulties)

(a plastic 120mm camera), arriflex 16st w/ 8, 16, and 32mm
carl zeiss lenses+ angenieux 10-120mm zoom, krasnogorsk 3
16mm camera (a kiev relative!), widelux f6
biggest leica oriented frustration: having a friend drive me to leica usa in
new jersey from manhattan to have an m3 and 4 lenses
serviced, and having to accept their $1300 fee since i
felt obliged after having my friend drive for over an hour!
