There is an excellent alternative for the mercury-cell PX 625: the
German firm VARTA batteries supplies a NiCad-cell type DK 60
(hearing-aid-cell) with the same dimensions and voltage of the PX 625
cell. I use these cell succesfull in the Lunasix, Microsix and
