Hi Lucien
I like your rationale...and here's a different spin., just for fun.
My 2 cents on "which one"...the M7W & 35 f/0.5 ASSHOLICAL (both in
unobtanium finish), with mind-to-viewfinder interface (this by-passes
the need to raise the camera to eye level to shoot...) When the new
chips are available from Leica to link the image from the lens right
into my hexium-chip based PC, I'd add that as an upgrade to the ultimate
'feel/look/something' combo. I understand from that both the M7W and new
lens will only be available from top-notch jewelry stores, rather than
from traditional Leica dealers, however.
Gotta go and get my tongue removed from my cheek now.
Candidly yours,
Alistair

The Leica M6-J fits me like a glove (maybe it's the real leather on it
??).(Snobbish !!)
Together with the 35/2 chrome (present), 50/1,4 chrome (1994) (or 50/2
chrome (1993/94) if I want to use the polfilter) and 90/2,8 tele-elmarit
(1974/90).
*The Noctilux had give me great joy but also some great disappointment,
that I never had with the other lenses but the former summilux 35/1,4 for
different reasons.
The continuation is not for you, Alistair :-D
My personal, present ,irrational and subjective Leica-M HIT PARADE is: (it
will change next month)
M6-J, M3 single stroke (60s) chrome & black, M4 chrome black lack & black
chrome, M6 chrome (Wetzlar) & M4P chrome.(from the"feel", "looks" and
"something" point of view only, because whe all know that all the Leica Ms
are great picture catchers)
