Most people realize that they are off topic, even when they add to a
thread.
Oddmund thinks and says that there is no offtopic.
You might consider it the same by looking at the result, but there
*is* a difference, and a big one.
I sometimes wonder what it takes to be thrown off of certain lists.
You might consider it freedom of speech, I consider it lousy list
management. There is a thin line between too much and too little
listowner interruption, but only inbetween is the land of freedom,
not on either end. Mailinglists are supposed to have a better S/N
ratio than newsgroups....
