I often use my Leicas in the rain and my method is simple. -Don't worry
about it but don't get completely drenched.-  When not shooting I slip the
camera into my jacket. I wear a Tilley T3 hat that provides some shelter
while shooting. The rangefinder bodies are reasonably weather tight.
