Here's my recollection:
Leica CL and Leitz/minolta CL
Manual Shutter Speed Range - 1/2 to 1/1000 sec
ASA range - 25-1600
Finder Frame Lines - 40/50/90
Non Dedicated Hot shoe
Shutter Speed selection in viewfinder
Front Mounted Shutter Speed knob concentric of the ASA setting
mechanism
Completely removable back and baseplate-similar to the Rollei 35
series and Contax II/III and Contax T
Metal top and bottom plates, metal frame and body
Battery - PX 13/PX 625
Minolta CLE
Electronic Shutter Speed Range - 1 to 1/1000 sec
ASA Range - 25-3200
Finder Frame Lines - 28/40/90
Dedicate Hot Shoe-TTL-OTF flash automation
TTL OTF Metering in Aperture Priority Mode
Aperture Priority automation-shutter indications appear
Manual Exposure control-no shutter indications appear in finder-No
apparent means of learning suggested metering exposure
Top mounted shutter speed control
Electronic Self Timer
Electronic Exposure Compensation
Hinged back
Polycarbonate top and bottom plates, metal frame and body
Battery MS 76, LR 44
The electronic exposure system is taken from the Minolta XG-1 camera.

Could someone who is familiar with these two cameras please list their
features and explain the differences? This information seems quite hard
to come by. I notice most of the discussion here is about the CL but the
CLE sneaks an honourable mention here and there.
