Not necessarilly. If I were to find a serial number indicating that a
certain model M6 was made in Wetzler vs. a more recent Solms model, I
*might* go for the older one. Whether true or not, there is an feeling
amongst many that the Wetzler production was of a higher quality than Solms.
If that perception holds, years down the road when you sell your M6 it may
be worth more than a more recent M6. A guess, only, but that's the way the
market *can* work.
