Hi Group!
I found this strange message in the newsgroups. Maybe some of our experts
know something about this camera. The original posters address is
Gary Blakeley <blakeley@helix.net>
As you might have noticed the name of the camera is only one letter apart
from "Leica" - like my last name which is only one letter apart from "Leitz"
and very similar to "Wetzlar"... :)
Bye, Edi.
>Does anyone have any information on the following camera? I cannot

>It is a small 35mm clearly marked "Eica" in a script typeface on the
>top plate. The serial number is 10718. The lens is a coated 4.5cm f3.5
>Shinei Eikkor, serial number 50484, in an NKS shutter with speeds of
>B, 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200. It does not say "Made in Japan", or
>anything similar, anywhere on the camera or lens. It came in a leather
>case with "Eica" on the front.

>The overall finish on the camera is high and it appears to take 24 x
>35mm (not 24 x 36mm) images. It has a large flash sync on the front.
>It is similar in appearance to the first Olympus 35mm cameras pictured
