Subject: M Viewfinder modification

In addition to my M4-P I have an M2, M4 and M4-2 body. I am contemplating
having the viewfinder of one of the latters modified to include the extra
frame lines of the M4-P/M6 series.
        I am a little confused by the varying quotes that I have received
that go from a low of $250 to a high of $450.
        What would the subscribers to this list consider to be a fair rate
for such work and which, if any, of the cameras should be the easier to or
more deserving of converting?
