My angle on it I guess is good but you're right the main thing is the thing itself. Though anytime someone points his camera at something, decides to process it and upload it to a gallery to show their friends or audience they get that credit for having made those decisions. I think often that's all photography is about. I could have uploaded flowers in a window again. I got some good ones this week. I like the flowers with Gandhi and the statement that made more. Though first I uploaded the wrong shot of that. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/ > From: Peter Cheyne <geordiepete211 at yahoo.co.uk> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sat, 20 Aug 2011 16:48:10 +0900 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] Gandhi with Flowers II > > Really good photograph, Mark! > > Often a photo of a statue is a photo of a work of art, and it is rare > to see the photographer produce something artistic vis-a-vis the statue. > > Did you lighten the area surrounding Gandhi?
