[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Want to add something to this subject that i was reminded of the hard way just minutes ago. my lightroom lives on an external drive (~10K images), used it this morning went back to it and it refused to open--"unrecognizable" run diskutility--could not repair--even after multiple tries LESSON 1: Had a backup on another harddrive--automated every time the drive is started (carbon copy cloner) After letting my panic settle (had the backup), i tried diskwarrior on the trashed harddrive-- complete recovery, except for the name of the disk LESSON 2: Own DiskWarrior.
