Looks like as more and more people gotten hold of the R-D1, we get a better 
picture [ha ha] of its focusing issues:

I wonder if Epson made some changes to address some of the mentioned 
problems. Initially the pictures seem to be soft but looks like its only 
because the earliest reviewers tend to be non-RF users. Then people like 
Howard and Henning got some issues that are probably explainable by poor RF 
assembly or poor quality control. Hopefully as we hear more reports, 
positives would outstrip the negatives...
