According to Ruben, not only do they not say when, they only say that the rebates are being cancelled and that the prices of the classic Hasselblads will be going up in order to actually make a profit. The only V Hasselblads that have stopped production are the electronic 203 & 205. And they are so far ahead on production that they are both in the latest (new) catalog and have enough stock to still be sold for a couple of more years. They did phase out more workers and they are heading heavily into digital and Asia production. And they do supply digital backs for the V system. A lot can be read into a few words. But as of right now, the classic mechanical Hasselblad is safe. Maybe things will change in a year or two after the price hikes slow down sales to a trickle. JB
