I don't believe that the Robertson's failure to dominate the world wood-screw market is a patent issue. It's just that Canadians have always been so much quicker than others to recognize when something has intrinsic merit. The rest of the world have stuck with slot-head (eccchhh) or Phillips-head screws, much to their detriment ;-) Robertson Rules!
